The official spokesman of Jeddah Police, Lt Nawaf Naser AlBouq said that Al Samer police station received a report that three children, all aged below 10, drowned in a swimming pool. The police investigated the incident and confirmed that that it was an accident. The police reported that there was nothing suspicious about the incident, reported Sabq news on Saturday.

AlBouq stressed that parents should take all safety measures and follow instructions that are specified near swimming pools. He added that leaving children alone in swimming pools without adult supervision is a huge risk.
