saudi-women-cabin-crewSulaiman Al-Hamdan, CEO of Saudi based company Nas Holding said he is keen to hire Saudi women as cabin crew for the group’s low cost carrier Nasair.

Al Hamdan had previously supported the recruitment of women when working for the Saudi British Bank, where 14% of the total workforce was represented by Saudi women when he left in 2006. He confidently stated that  it will happen before he leaves the company.

A key social hindrance, the problem of spending nights away from home would not apply to Nasair since its flights are short haul, Al Hamdan added. A young Saudi lady may do her round and return home by evening, since none of Nasair flights stay overnight anywhere.
